Laura Stanbridge participates in ‘US-Spanish Bilateral Trade Executive Program’ held at Harvard University
This unique intensive program, organised jointly by Harvard Business School and Complutense University, has become a reference for corporations involved in cross borders trade.
Marbella, May 15th, 2009. – During the first week of May, Laura Stanbridge, MD of CCG joined a group of thirty executives from Spain and the US that gathered in the engaging setting of Harvard University (Cambridge, Massachusetts) to take part in a select and intensive business program.
The main focus is to provide the Spanish participants with a deeper understanding of the US market including current economic status, business opportunities and practical business know-how. Also, participants are joined by representatives of American companies eager to learn about business opportunities in Spain. Added value and excellence are the main foundations of a program that boasts the most prestigious talent of Harvard Business School.
“I was very privileged to attend the program with executives from Spain’s leading companies such as Abengoa, Telvent and Viajes Almeida from Malaga. We were lectured by the Harvard’s prominent professors on issues such as building global brands and the strategic role of corporate boards. We also met many Spanish and US government officials”, Laura assured.
This executive program was established in 2002 as a result of a joint effort by Harvard Business School and Complutense University of Madrid.
Laura is an active member of many prestigious business and academic organisations in the US, Spain and the UK. Last year she was honoured by the Junta de Andalucía regional government for her role in promoting Andalusia as an investment destination.
